Our story
Hangtown Barbershop came about after wanting to return to the roots of working in a traditional barbershop which focuses on classic barber cuts, straight razor shaves, and exceptional customer service. The shop culture has a passion for barbering which pays attention to the details while continuing to improve in the trade. Providing a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere is the main intention of the shop.
The name Hangtown pays homage to the nickname that was given to Sandpoint back in the 1800s. Sandpoint was at one point one of the toughest places in the Unites States. Sandpoint was full of whiskey dens, debauchery, and violence. Far from the picturesque resort town it is today.

I am a passionate newcomer to the world of beauty and grooming, blending the artistry of cosmetology with the precision of barbering. My journey began with a love for transformation—whether it's a fresh fade or bold color, I believe every look tells a story. Currently training in both cosmetology and barbering, I'm building a strong foundation in hair cutting, styling, skincare, and grooming techniques. I’m especially drawn to the creativity and craftsmanship of classic barber cuts, from clean tapers to detailed beard work. My goal is to create styles that not only enhance your look but also boost inner confidence. I’m here to learn, grow, and bring joy to every client who sits in my chair—whether they’re looking for a sleek new look or a relaxing self-care moment.
